The Woman Born Without A Face

Don't judge a book by its cover. Khadija Khatoon is thought to have neurofibromatosiswhich is a rare and strange genetic condition. Because of it, the 21-year-old is unaware if she has eyes or a nose. Her mouth is a small slit which makes it difficult for her to eat or drink anything. All of the plastic surgery in the world can't help this young woman because according to her mother, Amina Bibi, "doctors told them there was nothing they could do." BS on that.

The United States just broke ground by having the first face transplant so there's got to be something a doctor can do for Khatoon.

However, she's not the only one who suffers from a deformity.

• Mandy Sellars from the United Kingdom has proteus syndrome which causes her legs to become huge. She has to wear special fitted boots and she also drives a car that doesn't require her to use her legs.
• Remember Petero Byakatonda? This youngster made headlines after being diagnosed with Crouton syndrome. His skull was enlarged which caused his eyeballs to pop out of his sockets. Because of this, he was bullied and tormented by kids in his native Uganda.
